Each year, Ruislip Stars creates a wreath from poppies made by the children. We laid down our 2019 wreath at the Polish War Memorial on Sunday the 10th of November. Parents from the Nursery and Preschool joined us in the ceremony and minute of silence!
For children in need all the staff and children enjoyed coming to Nursery/ Preschool in their pyjamas for the day. Thank you to all the families that gave a donation and helped us raise £201 for the charity children in need.

For Father’s Day this year the Preschool invited the Dad’s in for a Father’s Day morning. They enjoyed taking part in a baking competition where they had to bake chocolate chip cookies, and had lots of fun carrying out a range of fun filled activities.
On Friday the 11th of November some of our Preschool children and staff walked down to the Polish War Memorial to lay a wreath that the children had made. On Sunday the 13th of November some of our parents and staff joined us in laying a wreath while listening to the Sunday service at the Polish War Memorial. For Mother’s Day this year we allowed the Mums to come and celebrate this day with their children at both settings- the Preschool and Nursery. Everyone enjoyed a selection of cakes, cookies, and refreshments while spending some time with their child/ren
This Christmas the children enjoyed going on a walk around the block wishing everyone a Merry Christmas while offering them a tasty chocolate. The children also took part in a range of different games such as pin the tail on the reindeer and snowman bowling!
