This year, the children visited the Polish War Memorial on Thursday the 11th November. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, parents were unable to join us.
The children enjoyed walking down to the memorial to lay down their hand-made wreath! They also had the chance to join in with the two minute silence and see the other amazing wreaths laid at the memorial.
The children at the nursery also commemorated Remembrance day by creating a poppy poster!
This Christmas the children enjoyed going on a walk around the block wishing everyone a Merry Christmas while offering them a tasty chocolate. The children also took part in a range of different games such as pin the tail on the reindeer and snowman bowling!
The children had a party, enjoyed watching and playing with a real magician and loved getting a visit from Father Christmas!
This year for Diwali some of the children enjoyed making there very own paper diyas while others had lots of fun getting messy with different coloured paints to create henna art.
On Friday the 11th of November some of our Preschool children and staff walked down to the Polish War Memorial to lay a wreath that the children had made. On Sunday the 13th of November some of our parents and staff joined us in laying a wreath while listening to the Sunday service at the Polish War Memorial. Thank you to all our amazing parents that joined us in this ceremony.
This year we celebrated both Red Nose Day and Mother’s Day together. We invited the Mum’s in for a stay and play while wearing red to celebrate red nose day. Donations were given and overall we raised a total of £45. Thank you to everyone that donated.
We had a lot of fun this Christmas, we went to the local church to perform our nativity before coming back to the preschool to see Santa and have meal and party with our families and staff!
